Social Capital Insider

The official publication of the Dave Alexander Center for Social Capital, Social Capital Insider is the premier publication of people-focused business strategies, discussions and articles. The publication presents exclusive one-on-one interviews with some of the most forward-thinking CEOs and business leaders on the planet, original articles by those leaders themselves and feature articles on the Social Capital movement.

Hot off the press: Social Capital Insider, the premiere publication of the Dave Alexander Center for Social Capital—the nation’s leading gathering place for businesses and business leaders committed to putting people first—launches Wednesday, September 27th. In advance of that, on Wednesday, September 20th we’re offering a sneak peek behind the curtain at the ins-and-outs of the publication and the Center—that will transform business and society by prioritizing community, employees and vendors ahead of profits.

“Just as the civil rights movement and women’s movement began with an idea and a need, the time is ripe to fight to relieve human suffering and find economic solutions made possible by sound capitalistic business models that are people-centric,” said Chris Benguhe, founder and president of the Dave Alexander Center for Social Capital and publisher of Social Capital Insider. The movement and the Center are the brainchild of Benguhe, who emphasizes, “This is a way of doing business that is already being embraced by CEOs at some of the world’s top global brands. These are trailblazing thought leaders who have embraced the Social Capital mission to improve the state of humanity by focusing on capitalism done right.” These companies (e.g., Delta, Chipotle and Marriott) have seen that a by-product of doing the right thing is that it increases productivity, aids recruitment and retention of talent, and boosts the corporate bottom line—although Benguhe stresses that the main priority of these companies is to create an improved workplace (and community), whether it’s through family-friendly programs or philanthropic programs to aid the homeless.

Benguhe and his team began building this network in 2020 and have since grown it to almost 200 honored CEOs and founders. The Social Capital Insider features profiles of exemplary companies helmed by smart, successful, compassionate leaders who believe in showing respect for families, sharing the wealth, striving to increase well-being, better healthcare for all and
spreading knowledge and information.

The Dave Alexander Center for Social Capital is the world's premier center for people-centric business strategies. In addition to its flagship publication, Social Capital Insider, the Center will be a twenty-first century meeting place for forward-thinking businesspeople to exchange ideas and to educate and inform. Among the offerings will be members-only seminars where people can take lessons from America’s top Social Capital leaders on effective people-centric leadership.
