As Group CEO of the NGO ForAfrika, Isak Pretorius has made it his mission to create opportunities for prosperity in Africa, tapping his previous career in investment banking. “We engage with those communities where they’re at,” Isak says, explaining, “We listen to that community, we respect them. And when we hear from them what their Plan A is, then we take our knowledge, experience, expertise, and we help them to adjust that plan where necessary to create Plan A+.” The organization is focused on goals such as helping 20 million people become self-sufficient within 10 years.
